The event covered safety management practices in airlines and airports, risk-based decision-making processes, and multi-stakeholder coordination through real case studies and expert discussions.

Prof. Çağlar Üçler, a faculty member of the Professional Flight Department at Özyeğin University.

As part of the “Future of Aviation Careers Student Outreach Program” supported by Boeing, the third webinar titled “AI in Aviation: Current Applications and Emerging Trends” was successfully held on July 27, 2026. The event featured Asst. Prof. Leyla Adiloğlu-Yalçınkaya, who provided an academic framework on AI terminology and industry trends. Providing industry perspectives, Amani Alonazi from Boeing discussed autonomous systems and safety applications, while Burak Dağdeviren from TAV Technologies covered smart airport solutions and operational efficiency. Exploring AI career opportunities across the entire aviation spectrum—from aircraft to terminal operations—the session allowed students to directly engage with top-tier industry professionals.
